Timur Musabay shared his expertise on an animation, experimental jury and screened Grandtheft’s Summer in the Winter music video + Cronenberg’s Body/Mind/Change at Mexico’s Guanajuato International Film Festival!

A significant event for Latin American filmmakers, GIFF is known to screen films in the most unusual, and even spooky places. The genre of film often coincides with viewing location. Underground flicks are viewed in places like tunnels beneath the city of Guanajuato or the more macabre, chiller types are screened in municipal graveyards.

But when it comes to new tech, it’s the RV Camp space that facilitates fresh ways of viewing film, documentary and animation. While it’s an area where innovated exhibits aim to give its attendees a transformative experience, the space also allows industry experts to connect and teach participants new mediums. An educational and interactive platform, the intensive courses introduces the basics on creating, techniques, storytelling, logistics and the planning process to help propel the possibilities of blending film with VR & AR .
